John Alexander Glode

It is with great sadness that the families of the late John A. Glode announce her peaceful passing surrounded by his loving family in his 83rd year.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter; Jennifer, son Kurt, precious grandkids; Chantelle & Jonathan, and great grandson; Lucas,briothers Jim ( Connie ), Gerald ( Margie ), Phonse (Pat ), Con ( Sue ),sisters Cavelle ( Purley ), Lisa ( Jimmy ), Mona, Wannie, sisters-in-law Phoebe, Lillian (Harold), Phyllis, Rowena (Ivar), brothers-in-law Alfred, Wayne (Sharon) and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. John was predeceased by his wife Ruth son; John-boy, son-in-law; Larry, parents James & Myrtle, sisters June and Florence,nephews Cody and Johnny niece Serena, parent-in-law Frances& Norman, brothers-in-law Norman, Max, Jim, Les, Alb, Don and Rupert, sisters-in-law Brenda, Nina and Bonnie.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Thursday, December 19nd, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 20th, from Immaculate Cathoilc Church in Deer Lake, at 10:30 am, with Father Gabriel officiating with keeping of John’s wishes cremation, to follow.
The family appreciates your kindness & in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family in John’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
