Joe’s Obituary
“Joe” Daniel Joseph MacIsaac, age 68, passed away suddenly at his home in Stephenville. He was the son of the late Palmo and Annie (Rioux) MacIsaac of Aguathuna. Joe was a millwright by trade and worked at various job sites throughout the country. A very gifted singer and songwriter, Joe performed for many benefits throughout the years. Joe was a life long Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan. He is survived by a daughter, Samantha, a brother Emmanuel Rioux (Nancy) and a sister Greta Parent (Wayne). He is also survived by half-siblings Finton Alexander, Agnes Hering and Stella Cowen. He was predeceased by a sister Coleen and half-siblings Joan, Marie, Finton and Raymond. Respecting Joe’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Committal service will be held at the Roman Catholic Cemetry in Port au Port East on Saturday, December 7th at 1:30 PM with Reverand Krishnara Mecala (Father Kris) officiating. All are welcome to attend. Arrangements have been entrusted to the caring and professional staff of Russel’s Funeral Home in Stephenville.
