McNAUGHT, Joan I. – Passed away at Sakura House, Woodstock on Tuesday December 10,2019 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late William H. McNaught (1998). Dear mother of Susan (Barrie) Conron, Deborah Hurley (John Sparks) and the late James McNaught (2013). Loving grandmother of Shannon (Mike) Pickard, Scott (Jennifer) Ritchie, Tara (Joel Ziegler) Hurley, Angela (Derek) vanStam, Heather (Kristina) Hurley, Melanie (Jon) Minogue and great grandmother of Taylor, Jayden, Hudson, Navy, Mayne, Liam, Reese, Kayla, Jamie, Elliott, Calvin, Benjamin, Jonathan and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Dorothy Garrett (1977) and by her parents; John and Myrtle (nee Pretty) Callander. Joan was a long time member of I.O.D.E. – Admiral Vansittart Chapter, Woodstock Hospital Auxiliary and the past Chalmer’s United Church. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday January 11, 2020 from 12:30 – 1:30pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment later in the Anglican Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Sakura House, Woodstock or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
