June 10, 1940 – December 19, 2019

COMEAU, M. Jeannette – Age 79, of Concession, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 after a short illness in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Meteghan River, she was a daughter of the late George and Cecile (Thibault) Romain. Jeannette loved spending her winters quilting and enjoyed her flower gardens in the summer. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Wilson, Concession; sons, Philip, Toronto, and Johnny, New Edinburgh; siblings, William (Rita), George Jr. (Lennie), Zita (Robert) and Louanna (Lloyd); granddaughters, Deanna, Tammy and Jeannette; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Philbert. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, December 22, in Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral mass Monday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Concession, with Rev. Honoré Kouassi officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
