JAMES WILLIAM NEWTON “BILL” PALMER
1936 – 2019
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 29, 2019, James William Newton “Bill” Palmer of Straffordville passed away at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Dale (Balthes) Palmer for 61 years. Proud and loving father of Christine Palmer (Craig) of Orillia and Kelly Vanquaethem (Brian) of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandfather of Devon (Tasha), Curtis (Sherry), Zoe (Matt), Joseph (Sam), Nicole (Brendan) and great-grandfather to Sienna, Cecilia, Emmeri, Conrad, Mossimo, Cyril and Camilla. Bill is also survived by his fur baby, Felix. Predeceased by his parents Newton and Fern (Neville) Palmer and grandparents Lady Lillian and Cecil Neville. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, visitation, service and interment will be private. Memorial donations to London Sick Kids Hospital or St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tillsonburg may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
