Nécrologie
Jack received a Christmas gift of peace after various illnesses. Son of the late John and Louise Edmondson. Deeply loved by his wife of over forty years, travel partner to sixty-nine countries, and business partner for multiple businesses, Valerie Edmondson (nee Mapleston). Remembered by his children Ian, Jill, Neil, and Michael (Sarah McNaught-Edmondson), step-children Steve Leu (Leah Henry-Leu), and Andy Leu (Lindsay Passfield-Webber), and grandchildren Daniel Cole (Julia); James, Erika (Damon), Christopher, and Caitlin Leu; Hannah McNaught and Connor Edmondson. Survived by his siblings Doug (Anita) and Diane (David Dares). Jack will also be greatly missed by his weekly bridge group, fishing and casino buddies, long-time friend Daniel Ebert, and many other great friends and extended family in Ottawa, Montreal, and across British Columbia.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Maurice’s Catholic Church, 4 Perry Street, Ottawa on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. A reception will be held afterwards in the church hall and interment to take place in the spring.
For those who wish memorial donations can be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
