Howard Elmer Poechman
Poechman, Howard Elmer (Howie):
Passed away Sunday December 22, 2019 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Bette (nee Kuenzig) (2016). Cherished dad of Patricia and Michael. His loss will be felt by his sisters, brothers, in-laws and his numerous nephews and nieces.
Howie was a devoted volunteer at the Hespeler Heritage Centre for 25 years. He was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, and the Cambridge Red Hawks.
Howie’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 1pm – 4pm. A private family service will be held and the inurnment will take place in New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
