After a brief illness with his family by his side at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, November 29, 2019 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Lorraine (formerly Moric) of Bath and the late Gerarda. Loving father Henry Jr. (Lori) of Amherstview and Guy (Debbie) of Kingston. Caring grandfather of Stephen, Kimberley, Kyle, Troy, and Evan. Dear stepfather of Tina Osborne (Paul) of Carrying Place, Sheryl Gates (Mark) of Sydenham and Karen Warren (Jeff) of Tamworth. Special step grandfather of Lora, Sarina, Callie, Peter, and Aaron. Also remembered by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brother of Cor, Jan and Jose all of Holland. Predeceased by his siblings Dora, Paul, Pete and Nel. Also survived by several family members in Holland. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home, Kingston Chapel on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3 Briscoe Street, Amherstview on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Rite Of Committal will be held at St. Marys Cemetery, Kingston. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations by cheque or credit card to Chalice (Children’s projects & programs) would be appreciated by the family.
