July 15, 1923 – December 8, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hannah May Benoit announce her passing on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 at the Calder Health Care Centre, Burgeo, at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by her father Alfred Hayman, Mother Lillian Hayman; husband Samuel Benoit; brothers Gordon, Henry, George and John Will Hayman; sisters, Marie Hare and Effie Hardy. Leaving to mourn with loving memories is her sister Grace Rose , residing at Lewisporte, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Monday from 7-9:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m.. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 11 at 2 pm, officiated Rev. Elsie Rose, interment to follow at the Community Cemetery. Special thanks to Staff at Calder Health Care Centre, Burgeo for their exceptional care and compassion during her stay.
