It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late GORDON CLARKE of Marystown announces his
passing. Gordon passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy
Hospital in St. John’s on Thursday, December
5th, 2019 at the age of 73. Leaving
to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his: sons, Dana
(Adrienne) of Marystown, Mario (Crystal) of Marystown, and Vincent
(Erin Flannigan) of Marystown; daughter, Rosalind (Maurice Drake) of
Marystown, and Renessa Clarke (Chris Fehr) of St. John’s; 14
grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Alexandra, Tara, Mya, McKailee, Aliyah,
Keanna, Kendra, Cameron, Taylor, Kristina, Abigail, and Blake; 1
great-grandchild, Sage; brothers, Tom Clarke
(Gladys’) of Marystown, Bernard Clarke (Paulina) of
Marystown, Brian Clarke (Jo-Anne) of Grand Bank, Gerald Clarke of
Grand Bank, and Guy Clarke of Alberta; sisters, Sheila Marsh (Jim) of
St. John’s, Margaret Clarke of Grand Bank, and Jenny Follett
(Hughie) of Grand Bank; sister-in-law, Rita Clarke of Alberta;
brother-in-law, Robert Parsons; plus a large circle of extended family
and friends. Gordon was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis;
his daughter, Jeanna; parents, Michael and Elizabeth Clarke;
parents-in-law, Robert and Bertha Clarke; brother, Richard Clarke;
sister, Gertie Parsons; and great-grandson, Aarow
Brake.
The Clarke Family will be accepting
visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on
Saturday, December 7th from 4pm to 9pm, Sunday,
December 8th from 10am to 9pm and Monday,
December 9th from 10am to 12 noon.
Funeral Service will take place at Sacred Heart Roman
Catholic Church in Marystown on Monday, December
9th at 2pm.
Cremation to Follow
In Gordon’s memory,
donations may be made to The Clarke Family or flowers gratefully
accepted.
