MITCHELL, Glenn Patrick – Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 in his 70th year. Glenn Mitchell of Carleton Place, husband of Lorraine Mitchell. Loving father of Christopher (Eliza) and Shayne (Robin) Mitchell. Previous husband of Martha Fleury. Caring grandfather of Joshua, Jessica, Ethan, Zach, and Reese. Dear son of the late Roy and Florence Mitchell (nee Carswell). Dear brother of Irene (the late Jeffrey) Beauchamp of Pembroke, Douglas (the late Caroline) of Pembroke, Elaine Holden of Victoria B.C., Connie (Emery) Gagnon of Chapeau, Louis (Annette) of Oshawa and Wanda (Rick) Gagnon of Beachburg. Survived by great friends James, Amanda, Adler, Daxton “Mitchell” and Wyatt Jones, and by many nieces and nephews. Respecting Glenn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Glenn’s Life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 170 Ellis Ave, Pembroke on Sunday, December 15th, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Interment of Ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
