Gladys Eileen Hollis
Gladys E. Hollis, 97, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday,
December 3, 2019.
Born in Lake Killarney, Nova
Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Ellen
“Nellie” (Wood) Hollis.
Gladys was a retired employee
of the T. Eaton Co. Ltd., Moncton and Northrup (Brian) Transmissions,
Riverview. She was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church
and a former volunteer with the Moncton Red
Cross.
Gladys was the last surviving
member of her immediate family. She will be sadly missed by many
nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by sisters, Agnes, Muriel and Jean and by
brothers, Hazen and Gerald.
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10:30 to 11:30 am, followed
immediately by a Service to celebrate and honour Gladys’
life with The Reverend Chris VanBuskirk officiating. Reception
following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment
will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
In memory of Gladys, donations
to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
