Gail Audrey Edna McLaren November 28th 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Gail McLaren announce her passing on November 28, 2019.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves behind her children Susan (Ryan) Smyth and Brett (Julie) McLaren, and her most special grandchildren Dylan and Cassidy Smyth and Sam and Scott McLaren. She also leaves to mourn her sister Marlene Ink and brother Jack (Mary) Hamann, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Larry.
Gail was born and raised in Trail, growing up on the Duncan Dairy. She was fortunate to stay at home raising her children and was an amazing volunteer for many organizations such as the Birchbank golf club, WINS, the Canadian Cancer Society and most recently she held the position of Editor for the Best Years magazine.
Gail’s absolute favourite thing to do was watch her grandchildren play sports and she could be found at our local arenas, baseball and softball fields.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 5th at the Warfield Hall. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Gail’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gail Audrey Edna McLaren November 28th 2019..
