COLANGELO Francesco
Passed away peacefully with his family beside him at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday December 28, 2019 at the age of 90. He would have been 91 on January 3. Beloved husband of 68 years to Beatrice. Dearly loved father of Donato Antonio (Lucia) Colangelo and Antonietta (Mark) Vipari. Cherished nonno of Anna Maria Colangelo, Diana (Luciano) Colangelo, Tiana and Bianca Vipari, Alisa (Danny) LaRoché, and bisnonno of Francesco Thomas LaRoché. Survived by sister Angela Maria (the late Carmine) Radice, brother Donato (Maria Assunta) Colangelo, and brother Vito (Margherita) Colangelo. Predeceased by his siblings Antonio, Domenico, Giuseppe, Leonardo, Salvatore Colangelo, Donata Maria Cuviello, and Vita Crescenza Telesca. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Colangelo is at the Morse & Son Funeral Home 4917 Main Street, Niagara Falls. The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 1, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The vigil will be held at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Roman Catholic Church, 6557 Thorold Stone Road, on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. Rite of committal with Entombment at Fairview Mausoleum to follow.
