Peacefully, on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Rayna Gelber Moise, Elayne (Gelber) and Bill Roskin, Charles Gelber and Alissa Kerner, Joanne Gelber, the late Marla Gelber, and the late Cheryl Gelber. Cherished grandmother of Sacha and Sara Moise, Micha Moise; Jennifer Weinstein, Taylor Weinstein and Justin Green, Brody Weinstein; Morgan, Noah, Dylan and Callie Gelber; Maxwell and Simon Gelber. Sister and sister-in-law of Maita and the late Stanley Kraft, the late Shirley and the late Ross Silverstein. Heartfelt gratitude to Raquel, Judith and Annis for their care and devotion. Special thanks to Dr. Earl Edelstein and to nurses Susan and Lolette of 4C Hope Pavilion at the Jewish Eldercare Centre. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at the Chevra Kadisha B’nai Jacob Congregation through Tuesday evening.
