August 2, 1933 – December 5, 2019

The passing of Emil Balogh of Nasonworth, NB, loving husband of Beatrice (Foran) Balogh occurred on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was born on August 2, 1933 in Budapest, Hungary. Emil moved to Canada at the age of 25, where he became involved in the glass installation business. He started his own company in Ontario, Lakeview Aluminum and Glass. Emil moved to Fredericton in 1997, where he worked at Economy Glass until his retirement. After Emil retired he enjoyed spending time with family and watching the hummingbirds. He was a member of the Painters and Allied Trades Union. Emil was known for his generosity, kindness and willingness to help others.
In addition to his wife, Emil is survived by his daughter, Emilia (Jamie Reid); son, Joshua Foran both of Nasonworth, NB, and his pride and joy, granddaughter, Meah Reid. He was predeceased by his sister, Wilma and brother, John of Budapest, Hungary.
In keeping with Emil’s wishes there will be a private family memorial. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
