Obituary of Elsie Clara McCaw
Elsie, late of Regina, Sk., passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Bruce (1998); father, Con (1942); mother, Mary (1970) and only sister, Emma Booth (1952). Left behind to mourn and cherish her memory is son Doug (Wendy); grandson Taylor, all of Regina; granddaughter Ashley of Phoenix Arizona; son Richard; cousin Vera Leik of Parksville B.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie was affectionately known as Little Grandma because of her small stature. She was an avid fan of the Riders and Blue Jays. She spent many hours doing her passion of scorekeeping or playing the game of bowling. She played the game till the age of 89. She really enjoyed watching Doug and Taylor excel at the sport. She also was thrilled to be able to go watch Ashley dance at her recitals and competitions. Her other passion was playing bingo which she played up until the last few weeks of her passing. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The family request that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, # 26-1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9.
