After a very dignified life, on December 24, 2019 – his fifty-eighth wedding anniversary with his beloved wife Rhoda Cobrin. Father and father-in-law of Mitchell and Rosie. Adoring grandfather of Gabby, Matthew and Shaina. Son of the late Robert and the late Gertie Weinberg, and son-in-law of the late Peter and the late Ida Cobrin. Brother and brother-in-law of Jerry and the late Rhea Jamensky, and brother-in-law of the late Rosalyn Cobrin. Special thanks to Genevieve Balingan for her exceptional care. Eddy was loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed. Graveside service on Thursday, December 26 at 1:45 p.m. at the Slumber Haven Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, 4189 boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux H9B 2A6. Shiva at 1887 Featherston Dr., Ottawa, K1H 6P6, Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday to Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Contributions in Eddy’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
