Smith, Doris Mae – 93, Pugwash, formerly of Linden passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the East Cumberland Lodge. Born May 16, 1926, in Lower Shinimicas, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Sarah Smith. Doris had taught school in Cumberland County for many years. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Smith, Linden; son, Alton, Calgary; daughters, Molly Smith, Tatamagouche; Deborah Donkin, Linden; two granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Stella Fisher, Jean Greeno; brothers, John, Leon and Arnold Smith. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held next spring.
