BENSON; Doreen “Dode” – passed away peacefully, with her family at her side on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at the Brantford General Hospital. Dode was in her 89th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, the late Ben Benson (2018). Mother of Mark (Nancy) Benson, Lynn (Peter) Collier, Kathryn Benson and Carol (Michael) Hitch. Grandma Dode to 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Karen Parent. Predeceased by her sister, the late Carol (Harold) Kitchen. A sincere thank you to the staff of the BGH 6th Floor, the Palliative Care Unit and to Dr. Lewis Miller. A private family service will be held at a later date.
