In loving memory of Donna Carpenter (nee Boyd), 63 years, who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 6th, 2019. Donna was at home and surrounded by her loving family. Beloved partner of Richard Matthieu, mother to Lisa Gaudreau (Thor) and Patricia Carpenter. Special grandmother to Tyler and Blake, who were the lights of her life. She is survived by her siblings, Dan (Linda), Dave (Sylvia), Debbie Williamson, Doug (Dana), Dori Poirier (Dan), and Dean (Edie). She is also survived by Rick’s father Cyril (Doris predeceased), siblings Tim, Jim (Judy), Rachel Grenon (Francis predeceased), Murray, Tom (Donna), Mike (Rosemary), Perry, and Ted (Tracy). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Donna worked at London life for many years, then continued her career at Nauss Plumbing and Heating. She was active in Ducks Unlimited for many years. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch Street, Sudbury), Monday, December 9th, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9pm with parish prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Garson on Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at 10:00am. Interment in the St. John Cemetery at a later date.
