SCRUTON: Don (Busher)
It is with deep sadness that the family announces Don’s passing at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Sunday, December 29, 2019.
Donald Edward Scruton of Goderich and formerly of Clinton in his 77th year. Much loved husband for 53 years of Karen Scruton (nee Allen).
Dear father and father-in-law of John and Megan Scruton of Clinton, the late Colleen (2017) and Al Edwards of Goderich. Much loved and proud Papa of Laurissa (Adam), Sarah, Ivy and Truman. Brother and brother-in-law of Pat and the late George Sills, Connie and Larry Mellen all of London, Nancy and Keith Allen of Londesborough, Gloria and Wayne Jackson of Ridgetown and the late Elaine Craig. Predeceased by his parents the late Jack and Marg Scruton and his parents-in-law the late Tom and Genevieve Allen. Also survived and sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and good friends.
Friends will be received at FALCONER FUNERAL HOMES – BLUEWATER CHAPEL, 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
Spring interment of ashes, Clinton Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation – Dialysis Unit or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
