Donald Sanguine Monday December 16 2019

Sanguine, Donald – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandpa at his home with family by his side on December 16, 2019 in his 80th year. Don was the beloved husband of Pat Sanguine for 55 years. Loving father of Doug (Janet) and Valerie Hirst (Jim). Proud and devoted grandpa of Mitchell and Emma Hirst, and Kylie and David Sanguine. Dear brother of Joyce Finney (the late Ray) and dear brother-in-law of Joan More (the late Derrick) and Judy and Brian Jenkins. Predeceased by his very best lifelong friend Victor Hill (survived by Shirley). Don will be dearly missed by his many nieces, and nephews. Don was a devoted beagler for 60 years and a lifetime member of the Oshawa Beagle Club. Also, an involved member of the hockey community and volunteer for many years with the LEX. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at Celebrations, 35 Lindsay Street North on Sunday, December 22nd from 12:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. If desired, a memorial donation to the Canadian Lung Association or the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences can be made at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay or online at www.mackeys.ca
