Donald Leger
1949-2019
Donald Léger, 70, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the
UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton on Sunday December 1, 2019. Born in
Saint-Thomas-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Eric and the late
Rosanna (Goguen) Léger.
He will be sadly missed by his three children; Doris Léger
(Michel) of Grande-Digue, Sylvia LeBlanc (Ronnie) of Bouctouche and
Kevin (Mireille) of Notre-Dame, his six grandchildren; Chantal, Jason,
Jessica, Daniel, Samuel and Myriam and two great grandchildren; Tyler
and Wesley. He also leaves to mourn four sisters; Jeanne Gauvin (late
Emile) of Leominster, MA, Claudette Bourque (late Eric) of Dieppe,
Dorine LeBlanc (Francois) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Rose-Mai Collette
(Léonide) of Saint-Antoine, his two brothers; Omer (late Bernice)
of Saint-Antoine and Gerard (Odette) of Notre-Dame, a special friend;
Yvonne Breau as well as several nephews and nieces.
Donald was predeceased by two brothers; Ulysse and Hervé.
A private funeral service was held at Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche
on Friday December 6, 2019. Interment will be in the Saint-Antoine
parish cemetery in the spring.
In Donald’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
