Obituary of David Leigh Jamieson
JAMIESON, David Leigh (June 22, 1945 – November 30, 2019) (Formerly of Windsor, Ontario) – Passed peacefully with family by his side on Saturday. Cherished husband of Rosemarie (nee Haas) for 50 wonderful years. Beloved father of Mark (Jen), Tracey and Steven (Staci). Best Grandpa of Jack and Andrew. Loved brother of Shelia Lint (Windsor, ON). Brother-in-law of Cindy Haas (Tescumseh, ON), Rosanne Haas (Haida Gwaii, BC). Uncle to Karen Deneau, Tena Brum, Dan Haas and Chris Haas. Cousin to David Lawerence Jamieson (Australia), Gary (Mary Jean) and family (New Brunswick) and Wayne (Brenda) (New Brunswick). Nephew of Percy Jamieson (New Brunswick). David is welcomed into heaven by his father, mother, brother, brother-in-law, and many friends he has made over the years. David worked at Chrysler in Windsor Plant 3 for 30 years. Through his life David enjoyed making many memories camping, hunting, fishing, travelling with his family and friends. David was a faithful member and first board member of Faithlife Open Door Church, under the mentorship of Pastor Del Duncalfe. He will be missed by many friends, family members and he loved the Lord with all of his heart. His last words were “Praise the Lord”. Family and friends are invited to Faithlife Open Door Church (51 Oshweken Road, Manitouwadge) on Saturday December 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. for a time of visiting until a celebration of David’s life at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Del Duncalfe. Memorial donations in memory of David made to the Faithlife Open Door Church or Teen Challenge would be greatly appreciated by the family.
