Obituary of Daphne Dorothy Stroud
Passed away on December 4, 2019 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, Daphne Dorothy Stroud at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Stroud; parents: Hubert and Pearl Kirby; brothers: Ken, Cliff, Don, Frank, Rob; sisters: Joyce Moss and Phyllis Kirby. She leaves to mourn her sons: Albert Stroud and Bill Stroud; daughters: Vanda (Tom) Martin, Donna (Gary) Boone; 10 grandchildren: Marcus Martin (Cindy Keefe), Stacie Martin (Travis Penny), Brandy (Jason) Barry, Britany Martin (Steve Sampson), Audrina Martin (Jordan Faulkner), Tessa Boone, Stacey Drover, Deanna Stroud, Alyssa Stroud, Sonja Stroud; 10 great-grandchildren: Michael, Kaycie, Katie, Claire, Lauren, Ashlynn, Maddy-Lynn, Caleb, Arianna, Oliver. She also leaves her sisters: Ethel Clarke, Jackie March (Jack Sprat), Linda Barrett; brothers: Bill Kirby and Max Kirby and a circle of other relatives and friends.
Pastor Geoffrey Ryan will conduct the funeral service from Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at the Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery.
Public visitation will take place on Friday 2-4 and 7-9.
