DODGE, Cyril – Sailed peacefully into his final sunset at home on December 24, 2019, with his wife and his daughter by his side, Cyril Dodge, in his 82nd year. Cyril was born in 1937 in Little Heart’s Ease and moved to St. John’s with his family at a young age. He started going to sea as a teenager, first on a schooner to Labrador, and later he completed marine engineering and electrical courses at the old Fisheries College and worked on various ships sailing all over the world.
