Corey Stephen Lowe 19302019

Corey Stephen Lowe
1930-2019
Corey Stephen Lowe, Sept 1, 1930
– Dec 9, 2019. It is with heavy hearts for us to announce the end of
our dads fight on this earth and his reuniting with his Ida Marie
(Dykens) Lowe.
Dad was a farmer his entire life. In his younger years he
drove a truck, delivering slab wood. He worked for the Dept. of
Highway’s for several years. Dad loved bluegrass music and traveling
to various shows to perform. He could play any instrument and enjoyed
his time performing. Family, Farming & Music were the 3 main
staples of Dad’s life.
Corey will be sadly missed by his children Larry (Marjorie)
Lowe, Coreen (Tommy) Dawson, Glenda (David) Triff, and Kevin (Peter),
Grampie/Papa was loved by twelve grandchildren and nineteen great
grandchildren. He will be missed by his loving sisters Mabel &
Joyce. Dad will enjoy his Christmas this year with his wife Ida who he
missed so very much, as well as many others who he lost and loved
during his journey.
Special thanks to all who loved and cared for him during his
strong battle. V.O.N. and East Cumberland Lodge, you are truly
angels.
Dad’s arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church
St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) . No visitation by request. A
graveside service will be held in the Amherst Head Cemetery later in
the spring.
