Gutteridge, Carole (nee Stinson) – Passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2019 at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, Ontario at the age of 81, of Alzheimer’s Disease. Carole was the beloved wife of Bob Gutteridge, previously deceased after 58 years of marriage. Carole was the beloved mother of Allison Ann and the late Nancy Elizabeth. Loving mother-in-law of Craig Lewallen. Carole is predeceased by brother Howard Stinson (survived by Norma) of Edmonton, survived by brother-in-law Don Gutteridge (Anne), sister-in-law Carol Macfarlane (the late John), predeceased by brother-in-law David Gutteridge (survived by Diane), all of the Greater Toronto Area.
Born in Ottawa on June 14, 1938 to Howard Stinson and Evelyn Dyer. Carole and Bob moved to their adopted and much loved hometown of Lindsay in 1990. She was a passionate volunteer for the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, along with Bob, for over 20 years.
Friends and Family are welcomed to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Erskine Cemetery in Pickering will take place at a later date. If desired, a memorial donation to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
