Carmen Arthur LeBlanc
1942-2019
The passing of Carmen Arthur LeBlanc, loving husband of Audrey
(MacVicar) LeBlanc occurred unexpectedly at his residence in Caithness
NB on November 29, 2019. Born in Saint John NB on May 2, 1942 he was a
son of the late James A. and Mary Gertrude (Thibeau) LeBlanc. A loving
husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Carmen is
survived by his loving wife Audrey; his children: Clifford LeBlanc of
St. George NB, Anna (Josh) Landmark of Montevideo MN, David LeBlanc
and Daniel (Maryleigh) LeBlanc both of St. George NB, Philip (Nicole)
LeBlanc of Toronto ON and Aaron (Julie) LeBlanc of Quispamsis NB; 11
grandchildren; one great granddaughter; siblings: Ernest (Joanne)
LeBlanc of St. George NB, Eileen (Marvin) Leaman of Back Bay NB and
Elsie Manzer of St. Martins NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A lifelong worker, Carmen was a self employed woodsman for many years.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping,
tending to his pond and he also took great pride in harvesting lumber.
A sports fan, Carmen especially loved hockey and baseball and played
both when he was younger. He was the self proclaimed “weatherman
of Caithness” and was constantly busy monitoring temperatures and
recording the daily weather. He enjoyed spending time with his family
and friends and his love and companionship will be greatly
missed.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street,
St. George NB with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The
service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2:00
pm with Pastor Neil Connolly officiating followed by the interment in
the St. George Rural Cemetery. In Carmen’s memory, donations to the NB
Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated by the family.
