Brian David Kennedy
Kennedy, Brian David – 46 of Middle Stewiacke, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, V.G. Site. Born in Truro, he was the son of David and Linda (Scott) Kennedy. Brian worked in construction and plowed snow in Halifax for several years before returning home to assist his parents on the family farm which he loved and operating the mill. He enjoyed being outside working the land, happiest in his tractor listening to his favorite song “God’s Country”. He was an avid gardener, growing pumpkins for his nieces, nephew and other vegetables. Brian was a great outdoorsman, hunting and trapping. He was a big fan of the Boston Bruins especially Brad Marchand, his favorite player. Brian enjoyed vacationing in Cuba and made many friends over the years. Besides his parents, Brian is survived by his Fiancée, Charlene Lewis, her doggy, “Ava” whom Brian enjoyed supplying with Timbits every chance he got. Also survived by brother, Daniel (Holly), their daughter, Jenna; sister, Jennifer (Jason Farell), their children, Lorelai, Kyler, sister, Rebecca (Andreas Capuerde) their doggy, Ella that Brian enjoyed tormenting. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. There will be no visitation or service at this time by request.
