Brian
Clifton Burgoyne – 62, of Cambridge, Kings County, passed
away peacefully at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on December
20, 2019. Born in Kentville, he was the son of the late Perley Clifton
and Evelyn (Brown) Burgoyne. He had been employed with Avon Foods for
17 years. He most recently worked for Michelin, Waterville for almost
15 years. Brian loved antique cars, especially his 1933 Ford Coupe and
1985 Pontiac Trans Am. He enjoyed attending and competing in car
shows, where he won many trophies. He was a very creative person who
enjoyed working with his hands, carving, whittling and tooling
leather. Brian had a great appreciation for music and live theatre. He
is survived by his life partner, Cynthia DeWinter and her son, Shawn
Meister; his sister, Kathy Wolodka and her husband, Kenneth; several
nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as Cynthia’s family. Cremation
has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private
family graveside service will take place at a later date in the Elm
Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. Donations in memory may be
made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
