With heavy hearts, we lose a man who always gave without expecting anything in return. Even in death, he continued with his giving nature passing on miracles with the gift of life. The passing of Brent William Duncan of Fredericton, NB, husband of Karen (Sheppard) Duncan occurred on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 30, 1963 in Campbellton, NB, he was the son of William “Bill” Duncan and the late Dorothy (Somers) Duncan. Brent worked at St. Thomas University and Horizon Health.

In addition to his wife and father, Brent is survived by his children, Jackie,

Jonathan (Melanie), Julie (Kevin) and Trudy (Ronald); borrowed daughter, April

(Todd); grandchildren, Kyla, Rylee, Gracie, Riley, Cole, Alexis, Rolan, Jacinda,

Alex, Kyle, Dylan, Roselynn, Emily and Aurora; great grandson, Ronan;

brothers, Ricky (Leeann) and Glen (Micheline); several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his grandson, Andrew; father and

mother in law, Alex and Sadie (Feener) Sheppard.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4-7 pm with Words of Remembrance at 6 pm.
The Graveside Service will take place in Flatlands Cemetery, Flatlands, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Duncan Memorial Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
