Brenda C. Maresh
1956 – 2019
Brenda Christina Maresh, spouse of Gary Williston of Bay du Vin, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday morning, December 31, 2019 at the age of 63.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A, on June 6, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna (MacDougall) Horton. She was a Special Care Giver and a School Bus driver.
She is survived by her spouse Gary Williston; three daughters: Melanie (Peter) McCrae, Christina (Jamie) Cook and Charlene (Wendell) Doak; step-children: Chrissy Williston (Paul Cassiday) and Terry Williston; six grandchildren: Carter Maresh, Alyson Doak, Bailey Harris, Taylor-Rae Cook, Julie-Anna Cook and David Cassiday; one brother, Daryl Horton and niece Jenny Vienneau. She was predeceased by her parents.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi, on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Stephen’s United Church, Black River Bridge on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1 pm. Interment will held in the Black River Community Cemetery later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, IWK Foundation or Black River Community Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
