Brada’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brada Chelsey Parsons announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on December 25th, 2019 at the age of 82yrs. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Joe Parsons of 60yrs. Her sons Sean (Renee) Calgary, Brian (Carol) Corner Brook, Glenn (Marc) Toronto. Her precious Granddaughters Jennifer (Wesley) St. Johns, Jessica (Edmonton). Her brother Melvin Sparkes. Her sisters in law Ena, Betty, Ruby, Helen from Rocky Harbour and Bertha, Irene Chaulk (Stephenville). Also, many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, her friends at the Salvation Army Home League. She was predeceased by her parents Ambrose and Martha Sparkes (Rocky Harbour). Her brothers Cecil (Violet), Eunice, Ches (Annie), Lloyd (Cora), Russel (Joanne), Oscar, Gus (Jane), Eldon, Morgan (Monica) and Sandy. Her sister Edna Durdle (Walter) Deer Lake. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses from 3 North Long Term Care Center who took wonderful care of her. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday, December 28th, 2019 from the hours of 2-4, 7-9. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 29th, 2019 at 2 PM at the Salvation Army Temple with Major Frank and Rita Pittman Officiating with an interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Brada to one’s choice or the Alzheimer’s Society.
