SKELDING, William Paul,
June 30, 1930 – December 1, 2019
William Paul Skelding passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital in his 90th year. Husband of Mary (McKnight), son of George and Elizabeth Skelding, father of Betty and Frank Stapleton, grandfather of Tricia (Orlando) Hyatt, Tara McDonald, Steve and Billi Stapleton. He was also the great-grandfather to Clayton McDonald, Damane Hyatt, Trey Hyatt and Max Stapleton. Brother to George (Joan) Skelding and Jack (Nancy) Skelding. William was the proud owner and operator of Skelding Fuels for 34 years and was a school bus driver for 41 years. A funeral service will be held at the Newcastle Funeral Home 386 Mill Street South, Newcastle Ontario, L1B 1C6 on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 at 2:00pm. A reception will follow at the Newtonville Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital or the Newtonville Community hall
