Betty I. Ward
Betty I. Ward, 84, of Villa Du Repos,
passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, December 25,
2019.
Betty dedicated the majority of her
life at home raising her family. She was a faithful member of
Highfield Baptist Church where she was involved in many different
volunteer capacities over the years. Betty got the most joy when she
was able to spend time with her children and her
grandchildren.
Betty will be sadly missed by her
children, Rose Marie Butler (Danny), Eleanor Geldart (Brent), Colin
Ward (Linda) and Russell Ward (Melanie); her precious grandchildren,
Ashley, Bethany, Claire, Natalie, Cody, Katelyn, Kevin, Kathleen and
Stephanie; her great-grandchildren, Addison, Finley, Rylee and Sophie;
sister in law’s, Lorna Teed (Norman), Glenna Steeves
(Conrad), Helen Mabey (Richard) and Mary Poplar (Peter); as well as
several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Betty was predeceased by her husband,
Norman H. Ward (1983).
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home,
1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm
and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour
Betty’s life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at
10:30 am at Highfield Baptist Church (290 St. George Blvd) with Pastor
Gary Barr officiating. Reception following the service in the church
hall. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
In memory of Betty, donations to
Highfield Baptist Church or the Alzheimer’s Society of New
Brunswick would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may
