Obituary of Barbara Marion Knight
With loved ones by her side, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Marion Knight at the age of 95 at Cummer Lodge, North York . She was born in Surrey, England to Susie and John Trevethick. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Knight. Together in their marriage, they had 3 children, Dennis (Joan), Allan (Lynn) and Barb. Barbara was a devoted grandmother to Jeffery, Matthew, Lee-Ann (Claudio), Christopher (Amanda), Adam (Alexandra) and Aaron. She was blessed with 4 great- grandchildren, Mason, Jake, Hannah and Riley.
Sister to Dennis (Sylvia) Trevethick and the late Bass (Edna) Trevethick. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and son Dennis.
Barbara had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. She was strong willed, caring, honest and full of love. She loved to knit and be involved with her volunteer work. Barbara will be deeply missed by her family, nieces and nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend a huge heartfelt thank you to the staff at Cummer Lodge for the outstanding care she received.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Barbara to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
