Peacefully with her sons at her side, on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Fenelon Court Long Term Care in Fenelon Falls. Barbara (nee Millar) was in her 92nd year was the beloved wife of the late Donald Raymond Jardine (2017). Loving mom of Brian and his wife Jo Anne of Toronto, Rob and his wife Monica of Fenelon Falls, and is pre-deceased by both her daughters, Jennifer (1958) and Mary (1963). Devoted and loving gramma of Sophie and her husband Tony, Graham, Abigail, Simon, and Noah. Dear sister of the late Adam and his wife June Millar and Margaret and her husband Harold Swanton. Remembered by her sister- in-law Dianne Davis of Lindsay and her many nieces and nephews. Barb began her nursing career at Ross Memorial Hospital in 1950 as a student and retired in 1990 after 40 years in the OBS Unit, spending her entire career at the Ross. Barb’s family cannot thank all the staff at Fenelon Court Long Term Care enough for the amazing dedicated care they provided over the past five years. Please join us at our family funeral home, JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 8 Princes’ Street, West, Fenelon Falls, on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 40 William Street, North, Lindsay, on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation, Lindsay would be appreciated by the family.
