HOORNWEG, Arie It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arie at the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, December 19th, 2019, in his 93rd year. Loving son of the late Pleun and Teuna Hoornweg of The Netherlands. Beloved husband of the late Maria Hoornweg (nee Baggerman). Cherished father of Tina Scott (Alistair), Mary Ann Botden (Charles), Paul Hoornweg (Rena), Daniel Hoornweg (Jacquie), and Judy Goodjohn (Jack). Dear grandfather of Melinda, Carolyn, Christopher, Philip, Alicia, Stephanie, Nicholas, Timothy, Maria, Benjamin, Kate, Shannon, Hannah and Quinn and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Predeceased by great-grandson, Dallas Botden. Survived by his Janet DeGroot Late Peter), Thea VanWensem (Joe), and sister-in-law Jean Hoornweg. Predeceased by brother Andy Hoornweg. The family will receive friends at the Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, Trenton on Monday, December 23rd, 2019 from 9:30 to 11:00a.m. Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Mount Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
