Obituary for
Antoni Dudzic
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather (dziadek), great-grandfather (pradziadek), brother, uncle and friend, Antoni Dudzic, at the age of 94 years.
He is survived by his children, Richard (Janice) Dudzic, Jan (Lynn) Dudzic, Donna (Allan) Crowle and David (Tara) Dudzic; grandchildren, Ryan (Tina) Bochon, Amanda Bochon, Jason (Whitney) Dudzic, Robbie Dudzic, Janelle and Cody Dudzic, Megan, Hally, Marc and James Crowle, Aspen and Barrett Dudzic, Colin Nelson and Connor and Kiarah Leakey; great-grandchildren, Hanna Nguyen, Nathanal West, Hudson and Katelyn Bochon, Lachlan and Ava Dudzic; siblings, Aniela (Stanislaw) Kalwajtys, Sophie (Marian) Gawlak, Chester Dudzic, Stella (Stan) Papanek; and many numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased his wife of 63 years, Maria; two daughters, Christine Bochon and Halina Dudzic; his parents; and six siblings, Josef, Melusia, Wladyslawa, Zygmond, and Boleslaw. Antoni was born in La Ferté, France. At the age of 30 he immigrated to Canada with most of his immediate family, his wife, Maria and a suitcase. He worked many different jobs from labourer to barber to support their growing family. He was also very skilled at grafting trees and growing a bountiful garden on their acreage. Many people that came out to the farm just to buy trees became life long friends. We were all made to feel welcome with a drink, a home cooked meal and great conversation.

Prayer Service Friday, December 20 at 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass Saturday, December 21 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (Polish), 11485 – 106 Street, Edmonton. Reverend Grzegorz Nowak OMI officiating with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
