The family announces with sadness the passing of Anne-Marie Paquette (née Morin) at the age of 88 at the Elizabeth Centre on December 27th, 2019. Cherished wife of 63 years of Urbain Paquette (predeceased) and loving mother of Donald (Sylvie Monette) and Robert. Loved mother-in-law of Céline Ruest (James). Daughter of Joseph and Alice (née Bouillon) Morin (predeceased). Cherished sister of Rolland ‘Ron’ (predeceased) and Julie, Marlene (Rudy), Gerry (Norma) and Richard (Charlene) (all predeceased). Special ‘Nanny’ and Mémère of Daniel, Anne-Sophie, Isabelle, Émilie and great-grandmother of Alexie. She will be fondly remembered by many nephews, nieces and friends.
Anne-Marie lived in Azilda for most of her life and was a member of the Colombiettes for many years. She will also be remembered by the staff at the Elizabeth Centre who appreciated her selflessness and her devotion to helping others.
A ceremony, in her honour, will occur in the spring on a yet to be determined date at the cemetery in Chelmsford where she will be interred. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home, www.lougheed.org.

  1. I send my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Anne Marie. She was a truly special lady who touched the lives of all who met her. She represented the virtues of true grit, courage and service to others. She set a fine example for all of us by living life to the fullest regardless of its tougher challenges. I feel honoured to have had her for a friend.
