Sawatzky, Anna of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Franz Sawatzky. Dear mother of Neil(Kathy) of Aylmer, Jacob(Margie) of Eden, Frank(Heather) of Springfield, Lisa Rempel(John) of Belize, Peter(Margaret) of Springfield, Susanna Bueckert(Henry) of Alberta, John(Sarah) of Aylmer, Margarita Wiebe(Frank) of Aylmer and Nettie Guenther(Frank) of Leamington. Sister of Helena Guenther, Maria Loepky, Jacob Dyck(Anna), Peter Dyck(Elizabeth), Susanna Dyck(David), Katharina Fehr(Johan), Aganetha Dyck(Jacob), Elizabeth Wiebe(Phillip), Gertrude Fehr(David), John Dyck(Judith), Eva Wiebe(Ben) and Ben Dyck(Margaretha). She will be missed by her sisters-in-law Helena Bueckert, Anna Friesen(Franz) and Susanna Reimer(Peter) and her brother-in-law Ben Sawatzky(Nettie). Predeceased by a baby daughter Anna, four siblings, a sister-in-law Katharina Neufeld and a brother-in-law Cornelio Sawatzky. She will be missed by many grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on January 14, 1949, daughter of the late Jacob and Margaretha (Groening) Dyck. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church, Summers Corners on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 12:30 pm.
