Angéla Gallant
1942-2019
Moncton, NB – Angéla Gallant, 77, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Friday, December 27, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late May (LeBlanc) Babineau.
She was a retired school teacher, having taught school in Shediac Bridge, Lakeburn and Dieppe.
Angéla will be sadly missed by her husband of 48 years, Hector (Hank) Gallant; her three sisters, Jeannine Goudreau (late Aimé) of Edmonton, AB, Aline Lawrence (Patrick) of Riverview and Claire Poirier (Léonard) of Grande-Digue; her five brothers, René (Thérèse) of Dieppe, Adrien (late Carmen), Paul (Jeanne-Mance), Louis (Maria), and Roger (Alphonsine), all from Grande-Digue, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Oscar.
In respect of Angéla’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
