Reid, Alberta Jean
Passed away peacefully at Dufferin Oaks on Sunday, December 8, 2019 in her 95th year. Eldest child of William Albert Moore (1975) and Susannah Edna Jean Inglis (1946). Beloved wife of the late Victor (1997) for 54 years. Loving mother of Debra Reid (Jim Williams), Gwen Stone (Barry) and Bill (Debbie). Predeceased by her daughter Linda (2013) and her late husband Donald Dacres. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Clarence Moore & his wife Patricia Siddall, sister Nelda Alcock & her husband Peter, sister Reta Priddle & her husband Ken.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Shelburne Elementary Schools Snack Program, Shepherd’s Cupboard Food Bank or Alzheimers of Dufferin County.
