It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late PETER J. HYNES of
Terrenceville announces his passing. Peter passed away at
the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank, on Sunday, December
1st, 2019 at the age of 81. Leaving
to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Anne of 56
years; sons, Paul Hynes (Christine) of Okotoks, AB, Wallace Hynes of
Calgary, AB, Ben Hynes (Roxanne) of St. John’s, and Darryl
Hynes (Corrina) of Dunmore, AB; daughter, Priscilla Hynes (Troy) of
Airdrie, AB; 6 grandchildren, Leslie Ann Melanson (Jeff) of Calgary,
AB, Sheldon Hynes (Jacy) of Calgary, AB, Ryan Hynes of St.
John’s, Reagan Hynes of St. Johnn’s, Ty Hynes of
Dunmore, AB, and Jayde Hynes of Dunmore, AB; 2 great-grandchildren,
Lynden & Theo Melanson of Calgary, AB; sister, Margaret Best
of Medicine Hat, AB; brothers, Frank Hynes (Mary) of St.
John’s, Alfred Hynes (Maureen) of Terrenceville, Gilbert
Hynes (Marg) of Terrenceville, and Leonard Hynes of Medicine Hat, AB;
sisters-in-law, Theresa Vaslett of Terrenceville, Mary Roberts of
Vermont, USA, Mary Hynes of Medicine Hat, AB, and Juanita Hynes of
Medicine Hat, AB; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Margaret
& Pius Hynes; brothers, Leo & Thomas Hynes;
brother-in-law, Don Best; sister-in-law, Joan Cox; and parents-in-law,
Frank & Catherine Mary Cox.
The Hynes Family will be accepting
visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Tuesday,
December 3rd from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and
Wednesday, December 4th from 12:00 noon to 9:00
pm. Funeral Service will take place at Wiseman’s
Funeral Homes, Marystown on a date and time to be announced.
Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Terrenceville.
In Peter’s
memory, in-lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer
Society or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
