It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving, father and Dido, Matt Shykora.
He will be sadly missed by his, children Debra (Ron), Kristen, and Rick (Dawn). Dido will be missed dearly by his 10 grandchildren who were the centre of his life: Nicolas Shykora, Shaun, Ryan and Dana Poniewozik; Amanda and Kaitlyn Hodgins; and Mason, Sadie, Kayla, and Grace Shykora. Matt will be missed by many dear friends and family. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia, son Gregg, his parents as well as brothers Oleh and Ihor.
The Funeral Service is to take place Friday, January 3, at 2:00 p.m., at the Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Edmonton. (Located in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery). Services will be officiated by Father Matthew Drury.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all of the staff at We Care for the tremendous care provided during the past year.
