Moncton, NB, — John Charles Carruthers, 75, passed away peacefully at the Moncton city Hospital with his loving wife by his side, on Sunday, December 29, 2019.
He was the son of the late James and late Jennie Carruthers (born Beers).
John was a kind and loving man. He was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. John worked and retired after 39 years at The Moncton Hospital Maintenance Department.
John leaves behind a loving wife Nora-Lee of 51 years. Daughters Janet ( Shawn), Julie ( Matt), and sons Jeffrey ( Kristy), and Joel ( Nyssa). Grandchildren: Emmalee, Moshe, Christiana, Jordan, Brooklynn, Alexis, Amilia, Maddex, and Sienna. Older sister Shirley Burton of Calgary and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitations will be held at Faith Assembly Church (1010, Mapleton Rd, Moncton, NB, E1G 2K7) on Wednesday, January 1st , 2020, from 1:30pm until 4:30pm and on Thursday, January 2nd, from 12pm until time of the Funeral Service in the Church at 1pm.
Donations can be given to Faith Assembly Church or to any charity of your choice.
