Obituary for
Roger Turgeon
Roger Turgeon, 81, of Smooth Rock Falls, passed away on Monday December 23rd 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Roger lived happily with his wife Colette until her passing in 2012.
Loving father of Julie (Al) and her children Layne and Chanel and of Lance (Johanne) and their children Krystle-Lee, Shayne and Kyrah.
Beloved brother of Georgette (Don), Jackie (George), Marcel (Chris), Paul (Rena), Paulette (Bob), Colette, Denise (Jack), Rheal, Denis (Joan) and Madeleine.
Also survived by two aunts, Gertrude (Rene) and Ruth (Leo) and by many nieces and nephews.
Roger took a special interest in boxing. He was an avid sports fan, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays being his favorite teams. Roger could sell anything, from furniture to cars and everything in between. People that knew Roger always looked forward to hearing a new joke, for his witty comebacks and his stubborn demeanor.
A celebration of his life will be held next summer of 2020. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.
