On December 23, 2019, Mrs. Mary Dehod of Waskatenau, AB passed away at the age of 88 years.
Mary is survived by one son and one daughter, Richard (Rose) Dehod of Sherwood Park, AB and Linda (Bernie) Kotylak of Leeshore, AB; six grandchildren, Nicholas Dehod, Stefan (Samantha) Dehod, Thomas (Megan) Dehod, Carla (Tyler) Graham, Krista (Nevin) deMilliano, and Alison (Bradley) Thiessen; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Clara Graham; sisters-in-law, Mildred Popil, Jean (Maurice) Chomik, and Paula (Chester) Walden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Paul; brother, Walter Popil; and parents, Nick and Pearl Popil.
Funeral Rite Saturday, December 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Waskatenau. Reverend Michael Maranchuk officiating with interment in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made directly to St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
